With the harshest summer in many years behind us, our surrounding gardens are requiring more and more attention to maintain. We have recently appointed Kate Mabon as our Head Gardener at the Cellar Door and Cafe, in charge of nurturing all our plants and trees through a very difficult season.
One of her additional responsibilities has been to develop a market garden for our Cafe, so we can harvest the freshest, seasonal produce right from our very own garden. As you can see from our recent display over the Australia Day Long Weekend, the crop is quite abundant. It is a real cornucopia of fruit and vegetables.
We will endeavour to update our current produce list, and listed below are some of the items we are using from the garden both on our menu, and for sale at the Cellar Door.
